Use and settle your VIP tab

Speed
VIP members get a line of credit ('the tab') on top of prepaid stored value, so they can keep drinking after the prepaid balance runs out. Purchasing power = prepaid + earned + active-tab headroom, and every charge is drawn in a fixed spend order (2010 prepaid, then 2020 earned lots FIFO, then 2030 tab) so members burn their own money before the venue's. On the first scheduler tick of a new calendar month the previous month is settled: prepaid is swept against the tab first, the remainder is charged to the card on file, an invoice email goes out, and a declined card freezes the tab until an admin retries or waives it.

Steps
-
Reserving takes the seat out of inventory and starts a 5-minute hold; the countdown on the next page is that hold.
-
If the hold expires the seat goes straight back into inventory — the scheduler sweeps it, nobody has to click anything.
-
House credit is only selectable when purchasing power covers the order total.
-
Paid from the house-credit balance — the ledger moves, the card adapter is never called.
-
The hub is where a member already lives — tickets, credit, listings and comps — so the purchase confirms in context rather than on a receipt page they have to navigate away from.
-
The collapsed bar is one row at every role; the full role-gated navigation lives in this panel and closes as soon as you leave.
-
The manual calls the tab the platform's most misunderstood feature: it is not a balance you own, it is a limit the house extends.
-
It settles every user with tab usage, not one — the route takes no user.
