Understand your credit and the exchange

Steps

1. 1 Member Read the balance: three kinds of money behind one number 0:02 ▣

   Prepaid is money you loaded. Earned is proceeds from selling on the exchange. The tab is VIP-only headroom. They do not behave the same.

   A top-up is a real charge through the payments adapter and a real double-entry posting: cash in, member liability up.

4. 4 Member Spending order is always prepaid, then earned, then tab — you cannot choose which pot pays. 0:07

   Reserving takes the seat out of inventory and starts a 5-minute hold; the countdown on the next page is that hold.

7. 7 Member The hold timer is running on the checkout page 0:11 ▣

   If the hold expires the seat goes straight back into inventory — the scheduler sweeps it, nobody has to click anything.

8. 8 Member Choose house credit instead of a card 0:12

   House credit is only selectable when purchasing power covers the order total.

9. 9 Member Pay for the order 0:13 ▣

   Paid from the house-credit balance — the ledger moves, the card adapter is never called.

10. 10 Member Land back on My Club, purchase confirmed 0:14 ▣

    The hub is where a member already lives — tickets, credit, listings and comps — so the purchase confirms in context rather than on a receipt page they have to navigate away from.

    The collapsed bar is one row at every role; the full role-gated navigation lives in this panel and closes as soon as you leave.

13. 13 Member Try to sell it before the tier sells out 0:18 ▣

    No Sell link. The exchange opens on SELL-OUT, not on a date — there is no four-day rule, and no calendar involved.

    Staff can open a tier's exchange early; the automatic path is sell-out. Either way it is a state, not a schedule.

    The floor/cap band comes from the event's own config — anti-scalping is a property of the exchange, not a promise.

20. 20 Member Your listing sits under Member exchange with a public-release countdown 0:32 ▣

    Members get the first 48 hours of every listing; the clock runs from when you listed, not from the show date.

    Delisting restores the ORIGINAL credential. A sale does not — the buyer gets a new serial and the seller's dies.

23. 23 Member The ticket is usable again 0:36 ▣
24. 24 Member When it sells instead, the money lands as EARNED points — spendable immediately, but it can only leave the platform 24 hours after the event ends. A cancelled show has to be able to claw it back. 0:37
