The page staff are actually on when they want to book the venue's own night. Below 768px the inline bar does not exist, so the panel is the whole nav.
Before a685eac3 this was two taps because Quick Event sat in the Staff group, which is the group that opens on a staff page. The desktop fix must not have cost it.

Five inline links for staff, four for a member, none for a stranger.
Their Staff group holds two items, and a group of two never collapses (plan 113: a disclosure that hides one link is a tap to save a tap).
